As expected by anyone who understands the nature of true diplomacy and international relations, UN member states voted hugely in favor of the resolution supporting the longstanding international consensus that the status of Jerusalem – which is claimed as a capital by both Israel and the Palestinians – can only be settled as an agreed final issue in a peace deal. The final vote count: 128 in favor, 9 opposed. The countries which placed their vote in opposition – excluding the US and israel – were: Togo, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Marshall Islands, Guatemala and Honduras.

For these tiny nations, they could not afford to risk the meager aid which the bully on the playground threatened to withhold if they did not comply. It’s almost tragic to see which countries fell victim to this coercion by the giant United States’ government. And yet, netanyahoo acts as if this is something to be proud of. These monsters truly have no shame.

There were also abstentions and absences that in all seriousness should be counted as a non-committal to the zionist cause. Fence-sitters who could not shame themselves to oppose, but also not courageous enough to take a stand.

And once again, Nikki Haley barked out her master’s voice:

“I must also say today: when we make generous contributions to the UN, we also have expectation that we will be respected,” she said. “What’s more, we are being asked to pay for the dubious privileges of being disrespected.”

Haley added: “If our investment fails, we have an obligation to spend our investment in other ways … The United States will remember this day.”

It’s reasonable to assume that most people think that the US ‘contributions’ to the UN are meant to be ‘investments’ in peace and shared interests in the international community. Most Americans don’t see these contributions as coming from the ‘Trump’ administration or from israel – they see them coming from taxes garnered out of their own pockets. Following that chain of thought, it’s reasonable to assume that the encouragement of conflict is not the intent of their contributions, while the preservation of peace and security is.

So when trump, haley, and israel talk about ‘our investment’ they are talking about something different than the American people’s investment. They are, in fact, commandeering the investment of the American people in order to achieve their own selfish goals.

But isn’t that the way of the ‘international order’…?

Seriously, these clowns are truly shameless.
